Mindfulness is more than just ‘being present’ – it is about no longer allowing your mind to make you miserable! Suffering is optional – when you take your thoughts captive, you can live through any circumstance without becoming a victim (unless you choose to, of course!).

Mindfulness helps you to be more in control of your life

Our brain changes itself based on our experiences, and therefore, by changing our experiences we can actively reshape our brains. One way to consciously change our experience is to learn how to apply mindfulness. UCLA psychiatrist Daniel Siegel states that Mindfulness helps us to be more flexible in our responses. We are, therefore, able to be more flexible in our decision-making, and how we choose our experiences. In short, it puts you back in the driver’s seat of your life!

Mindfulness enhances the quality of your life

A recent study  showed just 8 weeks of mindfulness training increased the brain’s capacity for learning, memory, self-awareness, compassion and introspection. Participants reported significant reduction in stress. Mindfulness has also been proved a powerful aid in treating Depression, Anxiety, Phobias and Emotional Distress.

Cost: £240,00 for 8 weeks, payable in advance

New Courses start dates:

September 2018– starting Saturday 8th 10am – spaces available

October 2018 –  starting Thursday 6th evening 7pm – spaces available
